Very Local Food

I harvested enough basil from Farm Fountain to make a pesto! We ate it two nights in a row. Attached are 2 picture from the event. This pesto is made of fresh basil, garlic, a carrot, olive oil and pepitas. We put scallops on it too, but someday we will be able to use fresh tilapia fish from Farm Fountain. We are still waiting for them to grow up. Now they are only 6 to 8 inches long...

What a great idea! We have loads of 2L bottles around because we (Growing Greetings Ltd) have been doing a project to find ways to re-use them. We will certainly be building one! If anyone would like to share their stories/pictures with us you can find our 2L bottle feature here http://www.growing-greetings.co.uk/waste.htm
